For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with recumbent bikes.

Through shared interest in motorcycles I got acquainted with Torben Scheel last year. And thus learnt about HPV Klub Danmark which fueled my dream of a recumbent bicycle.

For the last year I've been fiddling with the idea of building my own recumbent bicycle - mainly because available retail recumbents come with a rather hefty price-tag.

Then, by chance, I found a used recumbent for sale priced within the range a homebuilt would cost me. So 2005-02-03 I bought this little beauty

.. now I just have to learn to ride a bicycle again ;-)
